Dr Neil Ferguson

Orthopaedic Surgeon

Dr Ferguson is a UK and Australian trained orthopaedic surgeon. Having completed his orthopaedic specialist training in London and the SE of England, Dr Ferguson moved to Australia to undergo further sub-specialist training (fellowships) in hip and knee surgery. After 3 years of fellowships, he then took up a permanent consultant position in Armidale, moving with his young family in 2016.

Since being in Armidale Dr Ferguson has built up a busy practice, performing around 250 joint replacements per year. He embraces the latest technology to provide the very best service to his patients and is very proud to be the first (and currently only) surgeon in regional NSW to have the ground-breaking Mako robot to help in performing joint replacements.
